- All makes and models
- Satisfaction guaranteed

Find the cause, then fix it.
Engine trouble usually shows up as a light on the dash, a new noise, a rough idle, smoke, a leak, or a car that doesn't pull the way it used to. Guessing at the fix wastes your money. We diagnose first, show you what we found, and tell you what needs to happen now and what can wait.
Then we do the repair with quality parts and stand behind it with our satisfaction guarantee.
If the repair costs more than you think the car is worth, we'll say so. It's your car and your decision, and you should make it with the full picture.
When to bring it in
Some engine problems can wait a few days. These shouldn't.
- Flashing check-engine light
A flashing light usually means an active misfire, which can damage the catalytic converter. Ease off and get it checked soon.
- Temperature gauge climbing
If the gauge heads toward hot, pull over and shut the engine off when it's safe. Driving an overheating engine can cause serious damage.
- Oil pressure light
Stop as soon as it's safe. Low oil pressure can ruin an engine quickly.
- Smoke from the exhaust
Blue smoke often points to burning oil, sweet-smelling white smoke to coolant, and black smoke to the engine running too rich.
- New knocking or ticking
New engine noises are worth a look before a small problem turns into a big one.
- Puddles under the car
Note the color. Dark brown is often oil, and green, orange, or pink can be coolant.
